Following are the historical moments in sequence that happened on 20th day of March that is 7th day of Chet according to Nanakshahi Calendar: 1. 1761 GurSikhs greatly harassed Ahmad Shah's returning forces from his 5th invasion, successfully engeged them near Goindwal and rescued Hindu women captured by him. 2. 1914 Baba Gurdit Singh of Sarhali village charter a ship, Kamagata Maru, to satisfy the condition of the Canadian Privy Council Order No. 920. 3. 1931 Sikhs presented 17 demands charter for the Round Table Conference. 4. 1956 Hukam Singh was elected Deputy Speaker of Indian Lower House.
